ClassOwl is a young EdTech startup founded by Noah and Alex, 18 and 17 years old respectively, in their final year of the IB program at Zurich International School. ClassOwl is a Learning Management System (LMS) and has been mentioned by IT admins and teachers as one of the easiest-to-use, since the idea was born by the very problem that they had encountered in school. Technology should help engage and facilitate learning, instead it was doing the exact opposite.
So one day in the school library, they started planning what their ideal EdTech solution would be like and saved up their monthly pocket money to hire a programmer to create the first version of the platform. When one of the teacher's from ZIS decided to invest in their vision, they knew that they were on the right path. A few investors and one year later, ClassOwl has brought out to market a fully-fledged LMS with interactive assignment functionalities and organisational tools to make teaching in the modern classroom less time consuming for teachers, and more engaging for students.
